Sonny Boy Williamson II was an enigma. One of the most influential blues artists of all time, he was so disdainful of interviewers that next to nothing has been known about his early life until my research in the past few years. Even his real name and date of birth remained elusive, beyond the fact that he variously called himself Aleck "Rice" Miller, Willie Williams, Alex Willie Williamson, "Little Boy Blue," "Buzzard Beak" and "The Signifyin' Goat" and gave birth dates between 1893 and 1909. When Robert Lockwood Jr. met him in 1931, he was calling himself "W. M." One thing is certain, however -- between 1951 and 1965 he wrote, sang and played harp on some of the finest blues recordings of all time. In many ways he is "The Unforgettable Forgotten King of Rock and Roll."

is a punk band based in the Brighton area in the UK. We play traditional 'British' punk music in the style of the late 70s and early 80s. Sometimes called 'old-school' punk. It differs starkly from the music that is called 'punk' today.
Our lyrics are about those things which make us angry, laugh, happy or sad. They are about often embarrassing or painful personal experiences and about observations on social, political or global issues, such as war, which we feel strongly about.
Above all we are a fun band to see and listen to.
A long time ago in a seaside town far, far away there was a band called "Chapter One" who used to play regularly in The Crown pub at Seaford. The mouthpiece of this band was known as "Wag"
One of the pub's clientelle was known as Sheldon, a young lad who wanted to be a singer in a punk rock group. Many years later achieved his ambition by teaming up with Wag to form "The Southern Alliance" whose manager promptly sacked Sheldon leaving Wag with no no one to play with.
4 years later the duo were back with a vengence as "The Crouch Potatoes" releasing two singles which enjoyed local radio airplay.
In early 2006, Stevie Dangerous and Stefan were playing in a local rock band. Steve was very disenchanted and after a chance meeting with Wag in a pub, he jumped ship and they agreed to set up a new punk band with Sheldon as singer. They were later to be joined by Stefan on bass. Steve had played for a number of punk bands over the years including "Chelsea". Stefan had lived in the West Country for some time before moving to the South East and played in several locally successful punk, ska and rock bands in the Bristol area, in 2 cases with his brother Mark.
And so the line-up was complete and "Insane Society" was launched.
Sept 2006 saw the first rehearsals and recordings of the new band. 19 songs were written, rehearsed and recorded in less than three months and by early 2007 were ready to be unleashed on an unsuspecting public.
Since then we feel we have gone from strength to strength with every gig and seem to have wide appeal to both young and older audiences. Younger audiences appreciate our music as different to that which they hear today and recognise it as being close to the original sound and feel of punk. Older audiences very much enjoy the style of music we play as it reminds them of the punk music they listened to in their youth. All ages seem to appreciate the humour and the sentiments in our material. We are also being offered an increasing number of bookings as support to well-known punk bands such as 999 who we know personally and are big fans of.

Introduction
This programme consists of seven different sections, each one individually tailored for each system of the body.
The sections can be replayed as often as you like until you feel comfortable with what you have learned.
This film can be used for practice at home on family and friends, and at Sole Purpose, where you can obtain a qualification as a reflexology practitioner.
For training purposes please note that the underside of the foot, the sole, is called the Plantar and the top of the foot, the Dorsum.
The foot has two edges, the inside edge being known as the medial and the outside edge, the lateral. The only time where the term changes is on the 1st toe which starts with the lateral edge and the inside edge of the toe is called the medial.
Section 1 - Relaxation
Right Foot
Effleurage using all fingers and thumbs stroking downwards to the ankle. Fan outwards using thumbs on the sole, upwards from the heel line. Then fan with fingers on the dorsum. This opens up the energy pathways in the body. With the palms upwards, press under either side of the ankle bones and vigorously shake back and forth. With the outside hand under the heel, and inside hand holding the foot, rotate both ways.Pull and stretch the Achilles tendon with the outside hand and press the sole with the inside hand. Press both thumbs into the metatarsal arch and bend the metatarsal arch towards you. With the outside hand holding, make a fist with the inside hand and grind the Metatarsal Arch with loose, circular movements from medial to lateral. Do this three times. Again with the outside hand holding, use the inside hand to pull and rotate toes one to five, rotating in the direction worked. Then change hands and work back five to one.
For the spinal twist, the inside hand remains static. The outside, or top, hand does the twisting. Move up from ankle and twist and stretch until you reach the toes. Repeat three times. Using the inside thumb, with the outside hand holding, walk up the bony ridge of the medial edge. Support the foot with the back of the inside hand and walk back down with the outside thumb. This opens up meridians and nerve endings in the spine. To finish, effleurage
