CLIPWEAVER'S unique editing tools allow the user to select and copy a segment - CLIP - from any uploaded video or audio stream in their own account or in any other user's account. The clips can be as small as you want, and as large as the whole media.
A series of clips can then be arranged and merged to form a new media stream.
To make a new clip:
- Log in to your account.
- Go to My Account.
- Select any video or audio object.
- In the player panel click on the CLIP option.
- You will be taken to the interactive editor called Clip Selection.
- Here you will see a horizontal pale green bar with vertical red bars at each end and two inverted black triangles behind the red bar on the left. This is the progress marker (play point).
- After it has fully loaded play the clip, or move the marker by clicking and dragging, to the point where you want the clip to start. Then drag the left hand red bar to that point.
- Play the clip, or drag the marker, to the end point of the clip and drag the right hand red bar to that point.
- You can fine tune the start and finish point by clicking on the + and - buttons on the left and right hand sides.
- Click on SAVE. The clip will be saved into your My Clips which is accessed from the top menu bar in My Account.

If you wish you can give your media file or new clip a 'tag' to ensure it is easily found by other users. Tags are a series of key words others might use when searching for your clip or for similar content.

Using the DROPBOX.
The DROPBOX is where the user processes his or her media or clips ready for making LISTS. The dropbox is an interactive panel that allows the lists to be dynamically reordered and previewed. Look at it as a workspace.
The DROPBOX is accessed by clicking on #Dropbox on the toolbar.
NOTE: The DROPBOX can only contain one kind of media at a time. That is, it can have audio in it or video in it, but not both.
To use the DROPBOX:
- Log in and go to My Account.
- The #Dropbox menu item will be visible in the toolbar.
- Click on the #Dropbox menu item and you will goto the dropbox. It will show you the current contents.
- The contents can be changed into a new order by dragging the media players, or the buttons can be used. The buttons are:
move the media
delete the media
move the media
